These terms outline the professional working relationship between Verdant Office Plants and our corporate clients. By engaging our office plant care, plant hire, or green interior design services, you agree to the conditions detailed below.
1. Scope of Services
Verdant Office Plants provides ongoing plant maintenance, short-term and long-term plant hire, and bespoke green interior installations for business environments. Our services are documented in an individual written agreement or accepted quote, which specifies the number of plants, designated planters, and the agreed maintenance frequency.
2. Plant Hire & Maintenance Responsibilities
For clients utilizing our plant hire and maintenance services, Verdant Office Plants retains ownership of all hired plants and containers unless a direct purchase agreement is explicitly signed. We commit to maintaining the plants in a healthy, vibrant condition.
- Access: The client must provide our technicians with safe and timely access to the premises during standard business hours to perform scheduled maintenance, watering, and pruning.
- Environment: The client agrees not to alter the agreed environmental conditions (such as moving plants away from adequate light sources or adjusting climate controls drastically) without prior consultation.
- Interference: Clients and their staff are requested not to water, prune, or apply fertilizers to the hired plants, as over-watering is a common cause of plant failure.
3. Plant Replacements
If a plant deteriorates in health or appearance while under our comprehensive care plan, Verdant Office Plants will replace it at no additional cost to the client. However, this replacement guarantee does not cover damages resulting from unauthorized watering, vandalism, theft, or movement of the plants by the client's staff.
4. Payment & Billing Cycles
Invoices for ongoing maintenance and plant hire are issued on a monthly or quarterly basis, as defined in your corporate agreement. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of maintenance services until the account is brought current.
5. Cancellation Policy
Service agreements may be terminated by either party with a written notice period of 30 days. Upon termination of a plant hire contract, Verdant Office Plants will coordinate a mutually agreeable time to collect all hired botanical assets and planters.
